They come in a range of sizes, textures and colors. Some call them a blessing. I call them a curse. When it comes to having a head of kinky, coarse or frizzy curls, learning how to tame them can become quite a hassle. I've scrunched, twisted, texturized, diffused and deep-conditioned, and my hair seems to remain the same -- a mangled mess. The pursuit of well-kept locks keeps us buying. In the end, though, often all we get is the same frizzy hair and money wasted.
